I plan on going to Philly to watch the Cowboys play the fleagles on the Monday nighter in November. I have seen posts on Cowboys message boards that warn fans not to wear any team colors other than the beagle puke green. When the Skins play in Filthy, do you hide your colors?? Go in a large group?? Is it really that bad?

Why do we care what happens to a cowgirl fan. lol Me personally even though I have never been there I would wear my colors proudly. Expect to get harrassed before, during and maybe after the game (if you loose). It would not be like they will kill you wearing a different color. I just hope you have thick skin so to say. Good luck and have fun.

Philly is the only place that Chief Z won't go. He got beat up there several years back and has vowed to not go back. That's the only game he misses every year.
The fans are idiots and they're violent. I'll never go there, but uhhhh, yeah you should go.

I went to a Redskins-Eagles playoff game at the Vet years ago, wearing a Skins hat and shirt. The fans were pretty aggressive toward me, yelling and throwing ideballs at me until the Eagles started to lose. Then they turned their hatred toward Buddy Ryan (turned out to be his last game there).
I'd remain low key, and when the Eagles fans turn against their team, join in on the fun.
And please, do not come to Fedex Field on December 18.

I think you should suit up in all your Dallas stuff and go raise hell with all the Phl fans. When you get home from the Hospital, oh I mean game let us know how things went.

as been said...watch your back. These are the same people that cheered when Michael Irvin ended his career.
I've heard first hand horror stories of guys ending up bruised, beaten, one in the hospital because they wore the other teams colors.
In fact, stay out of the extremes in the upper deck...those who used to sit in the 700s at the Vet. Those are the biggest offenders...

My brother used my season tickets to take his nine yr old son to the "Tear Gas Bowl" at Fedex field.
Enough said.
Anytime you have to use tear gas, it shows the kind of fans you are dealing with.

I wouldn't go, but I have heard it has gotten better there. They installed a bunch of cameras and even put a mini court in the basment to dole out punishments. It can't be as bad as going to a Raiders home game. Ever seen that video of the Chargers fan getting stabbed? I mean I love my team but I think attempted murder is a bit far. Although since it was a Chargers fan it might be considered a mercy killing.
