I don't know about Lincoln Field, but I've been to four or five games at the vet. I always wore my Skins stuff. Just don't get overly aggressive with anyone unless your with a group and near security. Ignore all the drunks (there are alot of them). They are the worst, and the crowd loves to egg them on.
You can expect to be called just about every name in the book. And plan on wearing beer and anything else that they sell there.
At one game when Randal Cunningham received a late hit the crowd turned on a group of us Skin's fans as if we gave him the late hit. It was ugly for awhile.
Might of had something to do with a couple of the guys in our group throwing pork chops on the field before the game started. ( It was the game right after Buddy Ryan was reported to have chocked on a pork chop.)

Really, it's just not worth it. Period. All of the horror stories you hear are true. By wearing your colors or cheering for your team, you're just asking to get into a fight. Even if you have the thickest skin in the world and completely tune them all out, you're still going to get beer dumped on you and things thrown at you. If you try arguing with them, you're probably going to get into a fight. And the problem is, the "security" there will NOT help you until you are getting beaten by a number of "fans". They simply won't. They just sit there and laugh because that's what this city takes pride in.
Another factor is where you sit. If you get good seats, you'll be sitting around a much better (but still terrible) class of people. If you get up into the cheap seats, there really isn't any telling what will happen to you short of nobody has died yet. That's really not a joke either. Nobody has been killed yet, but that's about all I can say.
So knowing that the best case scenario is you get your jersey ruined, heckled for 3+ hours, have a variety of things thrown at you, and get to hang out with the drunkest, most unreasonable idiots to actually follow an NFL team........and worst case scenario you end up in a hospital or in jail........I repeat my statement that it's just not worth it. Stay home and get a better view in a more comfortable, safe environment.
Us skins fans have a chance (if we have friends who are Eagles fans and we go in a group), but Cowboys fans really don't. When I go, I wear a Penn State jersey and get glared at because I'm not wearing ugly Eagle green.

Wear one of those Dallas Cowboys hard hats. And get a chin strap for it. You might need it. Have fun and good luck.

Rick Hunt?
Nope, that's not him. I wish he was still doing the games - we used to hear all sorts of "inside info" when he was. Stories he told us about Sam Huff were hilarious.

Man, these Eagles fans are idiots....I hope their team crashes and burns this year....I hate those idiots on the fansite. They just seem to believe that their team will dominate the East this year.
What unreasonable fools they are, and they're all ugly too!

They go to the bathroom in the walkways leading to the concourse, cheer opposing players getting injured, and beat the crap out of 188 year old Chief Zee. They suck. Think Gladiator Meets Goodfellas

I went to a Redskins-Eagles playoff game at the Vet years ago, wearing a Skins hat and shirt. The fans were pretty aggressive toward me, yelling and throwing ideballs at me until the Eagles started to lose. Then they turned their hatred toward Buddy Ryan (turned out to be his last game there).
I'd remain low key, and when the Eagles fans turn against their team, join in on the fun.
And please, do not come to Fedex Field on December 18.
I was at that game also! One of my favorite games ever!

I was born and raised in philly. Went to many Eagle Redskin games at the vet in my skins gear. Eagle season ticket holders are the worst fans I have ever seen. Absolute animals, drunk, puking, pissing everywhere, fighting & cursing all over the place. I have never personally had a run in with any of them, but I have seen a lot of nasty behavior around me over the years, including the indian chief dude getting his ass kicked years ago in the parking lot.
I do have some friends who are eagles season ticket holders now and they tell me that the place has calmed down a lot since they moved into the new stadium...
One other thing...if you go don't engage them. Just watch your team and keep your mouth shut. If you respond to one guy who yells something to you then others will hear you and swarm. I have been to about 20 eagles skins games at the vet without incident, becasue I don't take the bait. They want someone who will say something back and escalate a situation. Many of them are drunk white trash just looking for trouble.
