That's great work. What's really good news is that next year is the worst year, and then it gets progressively better. Do you think Samuels and Arrington would restructure their salaries again to make things better off next year? That's really the only way it's going to work (ie, signing new free agents, etc.).
Unfortunately Samuels and Arrington both have very low salaries in 2006 so it will be hard for them to restructure.
Jansen and Thomas are good restructure candidates (ie the usual suspects).
Also the following guys are cap casualty candidates in 2006: Noble, Hall, Harris, Bowen, Raymer, Brunell, Friedman.

The Skins imitated the Eagles Joe Banner and carried over about 800K of LTBE credits from 04 to 05 so their 05 cap was actually around 86.3M.
I think the 06 number is about 10M low because they already have 3.5M of dead cap for 06 and the totals for Arrington Samuels and Taylor[Deion Sanders charge] are low.
Taylor[Deion Sanders charge] are low. How does Deion figure into this? His dead money is long gone

They named a salary cap rule after him because the rule is designed to combat contracts like the one he signed with Dallas early in cap history.

I agree with Arrington and Taylor. They are both probably $1M-$2M low. Not sure about Samuels though, I think my number is actually high.
Been working to factor in the Deion rule and clean up Taylor, Arrington, and Samuels in general. Will try to get some updates into the next round of cap sheets.

Salary cap article mostly about SD but there is this mention of the Skin's cap position for next year. The Skins have the 5th highest amount committed to next year.

"The Redskins have a current figure of $113.406 million against next year's cap. They'll look to do something with LB LaVar Arrington and his massive cap hit but Washington usually leads the league in dead money."
This reminds me I have new sheets to post, I'll get them posted tonight, sorry Canuck I just forgot!
