Anyone have any idea what happened to Shawn Barber?
Was he cut by the Chiefs? Is he hurt?
If available let's give him a workout in DC.
Any clue??? Anyone???
The Kansas City Chiefs placed linebacker Shawn Barber on the physically unable to perform list.
Barber recorded 33 tackles with one sack and one interception in eight games last season for Kansas City. He tore his left ACL in a game against Tampa Bay last November and was forced to have surgery because of the injury.

Shawn Barber is on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list for Kansas City. NFL rules allow teams to designate players as "Physically Unable to Perform." Once they are designated as such, they are prohibited from practicing with the team. They can, however, rehabilitate and participate in team meetings. If a player begins training camp on the PUP list, they can be moved to the active roster at any time, even after one practice. A player is not allowed to be placed on the PUP list if they start training camp on the active roster.
Since Barber was not healthy for training camp, he was added to the PUP list (in fact, he is the PUP list). When he is ready KC can activate him without penalty, though they will have to reduce their roster to accomodate him.
