the thought never crossed my mind. not finishing a skins game is about as likely as me saying i like the cowboys.

it is beyond belief the amount of people i know that turned the game off, i was gonna make dvds of the last few minutes but my recorder only recorded from 9-12 which was the scheduled time but the game ended much after that so it didn't get the final four minutes, i however got the first td. I guess it was a once in a lifetime thing. I got 4 hours sleep the night before the game and went to sleep at 3 after the game and was up at 5:30 and got home around 3:30 on Tuesday and hit the sack for a long time. But during the day tuesday i didn't feel tired, it was great just shaking my head up and down at them damn dallas d-bags

my manager stopped watching before the skins scored any points and his reaction to when I told him about the Skins raising from the dead offensively and that his boys had lost was absolutely priceless. another coworker and I r still giving him sh!+ about it, lol.

I learned my lesson about going to bed early. I turned off TB and Indy.... I'd never turn off a Redskins game, but the game isn't over till the whistle blows!

As I have to get up way too early to catch all of MNF, I did my usual thing... watch the first half and then tape the 2nd half to watch the next day. Boy, was I shocked to hear the sports news first thing when I woke up.. not that the Skins had won but how they had won. It was only 3-0 when I went to bed.

I watched the final 4 minutes many, many times now.. and those 2 passes by Brunell were 2 gorgeous passes. I also noted how the MNF announcers talked incessively about the Cowboys during the whole 2nd half up until that first TD to Moss. But Madden is always like that... he loves whatever team is winning and will talk 90% about that team.

I can honestly say I watched the whole game. When we scored our first TD, I was thinking, oh well at least we finally got a touchdown, but kept quiet as I was watching from our bedroom with my wife sleeping beside me. We scored the second TD and I went bananas and she woke up and grumbled at me. Had to do some fast apologizing but the next morning she said she understood and if I ever do that again, I'll be sleeping on the couch!

I always stay for the whole thing. Most of the time I'm a glutton for punishment, but like last monday night, sometimes it pays one millionfold, and that win was worth all of the losses I've stayed up to endure in my life. It wasn't a superbowl, but it was a real close second. I stayed up till four and got up at 7am, but I was full of energy for 2 days.

I was just talking to my Mom and she said, how much did the Redskins lose by on Monday night? I was like huh... they won! She was surprised and said she was watching it for a while but went to bed and figured they lost.

Did anybody else got to bed and wake up to the news that they pulled out the win? I was just thinking of how much of a shock that would have been.

I have to admit that the thought of turning the game off and going to bed flashed through my mind briefly on Monday night, but for some reason I decided to keep torturing myself. ;)

This is where its good to be out west. Going to bed is not an option. I admit, instead of sitting on the couch, watching intently, I got ready to come on here and let out my frustrations. Then they scored the first TD. That at least got my attention. But I'd be a liar, if I didn't say, well at least they "made it respectable". Then they get the ball back and I'm just ready to be tortured some more. I figured they would drive into Dallas territory with under a minute then some crap would happen. But on the 2nd play, you want to talk about an attention getter! I was going apeshit and wondering if that really just happened. Once the clock read :00, let the party begin!

Hey man I ALWAYS set my dvr to record at least 30 minutes after the game ends. I got it all! When in your settings, set it to add 30 minutes on the end!

And to add, My mon watched the whole game and had to wake up my dad to tell him. They are in their 50s and transplants to North Carolina but Die Hards either way. I say, you should be ashamed if you didnt watch it live as I did. I get up at 6 am EST and when the Skins are playing, being tired is worth it. Remember, we only get 16 games and if they are on, I'm going to watch all of it!

Bye week hopefully heals some wounds and sees the Raiders beat the Eagles, and the 49ers beat the Cowboys....I hope...
