I was out til 11:30, so i didn't settle into watch until 6 minutes left (had a softball doubleheader at 8:15 and 9:15, where the other team had 2 portable TVs, so I got updates). Was falling asleep with about 4 minutes to go, then all hell broke loose. Woke my wife up (who had gone to sleep around 10, with the game on of course) when Taylor made his hit. I shot straight up, and she thought something was wrong...

The Sports Reporters got a few emails of next morning stories. One guy went to bed angry, woke up angry, snapped at his wife. She asked what was wrong, he mentions the Skins, and she said the paper said they won. Guy was 20 minutes late to work trying to catch up on the news.

Another guy caught shit from his Cowboys fan neighbor about the game, woke up disappointed, and got in his car to go to work, the Cowboys fan flipped him off. Once he got to work, he ran down for a paper, and found out the good news.

Work also comes early in the morning for me, but I managed to stay awake to watch it. I certainly came very close to turning it off...for the simple reason of not wanting to have only a couple hours of sleep, be angry because my team lost, and to struggle through two jobs the next day. However, watching them win made me going through all that - minus being angry - worthwhile. ;)

I agree! 5 a.m. is awful early!

However, I did stay up for the entire game!

I had to be at work at 6:00 a.m that morning, stayed up till about 2:30 felt like shit til all the cowboy fans who had talked smack on Monday scurried away from me like rats when I wakked in the door.

The bigger the deficit and the more hopeless it seems, the bigger reason you have to watch. Because after all, the bigger the comeback, the bigger the story you'll have to tell your grandkids.

Never turn it off till the fat lady sings! I think I'd be pretty sad if I missed out on seeing it happen live on TV. That was one of the better games in Skins' history, and I like being able to say I saw it happen.

I honestly wasn't as tired as what I thought I was going to be the next day! Certainly a classic! I had to make sure that I hadn't dosed off and was merely dreaming.

I was just talking to my Mom and she said, how much did the Redskins lose by on Monday night? I was like huh... they won! She was surprised and said she was watching it for a while but went to bed and figured they lost.

Did anybody else got to bed and wake up to the news that they pulled out the win? I was just thinking of how much of a shock that would have been.

I have to admit that the thought of turning the game off and going to bed flashed through my mind briefly on Monday night, but for some reason I decided to keep torturing myself. ;)

Me and my dad stayed up and watched it and the next day when I saw all my friends who were Dallas fans...they had gone to sleep in thinking they won like 20-0 but instead woke up to an awful suprise.
