Giants fans make their bid to replace Philly and Baltimore fans as the most obnoxius:

I am still pissed at the NFL for giving the Giants an extra home game. Not so much that they did it, in the wake of Katrina things had to be adjusted, - but b/c they insisted on calling it a "home" game for the Saints. Just admit that, due to circumstances beyond anyone's control, the Giants get an extra home game. Don't try some 1984 Newspeak bullshit by denying reality. Did the crowd make noise on NY's third downs? No. Did the Saints have to work against crowd noise? Yes. Did the Giants have to board a plane to go home? No.

Sorry, didn't mean to ramble. It's just that these "we'll deny reality by creating our own label" types of things bug me. Add in the fact that NY fans were such dicks and kinda puts it over the top for me.

pretty damn pathetic that some fans had to go out of their way to make life miserable...but, sorry to say, nothing will top a Philly fan...

It's not so much the Giants getting an extra home game. The NFL gave them this game in the name of disaster recovery for New Orleans. That part is fine. However, the fact is, it would have been much better served for their fans to host the game in Baton Rouge, or even San Antonio, as there thousands of their fans living there now. I wonder how many NO fans were in NY for the game? The NFL gave the cherry to their largest market team and tried to disguise in a helping hand!

I was at that MNF "Pepper Spray Game" and that's when I found out about Philly fans. There were like thirty all out brawls in the stands that night. Philly fans are straight up crazy. I mean a few Philly fans took some real beatings that night. I fear for our fans every time they go up to Philly, but I sure as hell respect them!

THAT'S the truth but they'll never admit it. Like Georgy Boy will never admit he started a war for money.

I am lifelong Redskins fan from Philly, and I now live in north Jersey. So I have come to know both sets of fans. Since that was not a true Giants home game many of the people there were not Giants season ticket holders. Giants season ticket holders are generally an older more subdued crowd in general. I have never had personally or seen a problem in that stadium. Half the time they are late to the game and spend most of the time running back and forth form the concession stands.

On the other hand, Eagle fans are the absolute scum of the earth. There is no fan on the planet as bad as an Eagle season ticket holders. I hate both teams about equally, but the philly fans are much much worse.
