railcon56 09-25-2005, 10:42 PM lavar has his reasons, for instance in that arbitration, he felt they wronged him, therefore he did what he had to do, but in the end it got settled peacefully. he's not a selfish man, taking those people to walmart speaks for itself. sadly now, he's not being used to his full potential, and he's not a bitch. what the hell did he do to deserve this treatment? now taylor's a stud who gives his all? yeah i figured, that's why he took the law into his own hands and put a gun to some guy's face. i'm getting sick of all you lavar haters, for all the things he does for the fans you'd think he get the tiniest ounce of respect. did you ever think lavar just decided bah, i don't have to learn the playbook, no. maybe he thinks he's ready, but the coaches think he isn't. and did the thought ever cross your mind that in gregg williams scheme, the plays for lavar are designed so he can freelance and still make plays?
I agree with you 100%
DirtBagZ 09-26-2005, 07:10 AM Whoa, cowboy (no punned intended), I thought Taylor still had to stand trial on his situation. So why are you saying he pointed a gun to someone's face....and he's only been accused at this point?
Sorry 12th Man but Taylor should have the smarts to not even put himself in that situation, he has too much at stake. I partly agree with you everyone has a right to a fair trial and you are innocent until proven guilty. Still any adult needs to use better judgement and not risk your life and livlihood. If this ends up self-defence, that is one thing, but because Taylor has a track record now of getting into trouble it is cause for concern. How many times do you have to see smoke before there is a fire?

are you trying to say that taylor didn't pull a gun? because everyone who watches football knows that taylor did put a gun to some dude's face. i believe he will be found not guilty, but that doesn't excuse the fact that he did it. he shouldn't even have gotten into that situation in the first place, he should've told the police and let them go after the guy that stole his atv's. but that's beside the point, the guy who made the original post was riding taylor's dick like HE was a perennial pro bowler who's made big time plays for us when we needed them.
Defensewins 09-26-2005, 09:01 AM Lavar may say is is 100% healthy, but he is not playing like the old Lavar. It may be psychological and not physical, but he must be favoring his bad knee.
Lavar is not playing up to the level before his knee injury. From what I have seen him play this preseason and regular season, his point of attack ability is fine, but his speed and ability to cut is not like before. He is not coming around the corner (around the OT) with the speed needed to make a diffrence. His pass rush skills are not yet there, he has been some what of a non-factor when in the game.
Maybe the coaches feel the guys they are using instead of Lavar are dong a better job for now, until Lavar gets his wheels back.
PSUSkinsFan21 09-26-2005, 10:30 AM Like i said before....maybe lavar should of learned Williams system, rather than take those people to wal-mart. but then again, this might be a good thing for lavar....if he keeps acting like a little bitch, he can use his degree from the state penn, i mean penn state, and maybe one day i'll hear over the intercom....LAVAR, CLEAN UP ON AISLE THREE. But i really think the reason is more than the knee,Williams is a great coach, and i think he wants his players to be in the right position all the time and lavar does his own thing, which hurts our scheme. I use to be a big fan of lavars, until he tried to screw the team out of money, then i saw what a selfish dick he really is. I use to wear Lavars shirt every sunday with pride, sadly now, he's old news(and a bitch) i might add, now i wear taylors #21 jersey, now he's a stud who gives his all.
There is so much wrong with this entire post that I hardly know where to start.
First of all, you're no longer a fan of a guy who takes hurricane victims to walmart to buy them necessities with his own money, out of the goodness of his heart......because you believe a guy like Sean Taylor is more worthy of your praise.......a guy who doesn't bother returning his coaches' calls all offseason because he's too busy getting involved in gun-play that could keep him away from our team for 3 years while he's sitting in prison??? That fact alone should probably have been enough for me to just ignore this post.
But then there's what appears to be a slight at Penn State as well......and everyone here knows I'm not keeping my mouth shut about that. If you are insinuating that somehow a Penn State degree is likely to lead to a career at Walmart, then please, I beg you, send me a private message with where you graduated college and let's see whose degree has gotten them farther.
And that "selfish dick" (kinda seems contradictory to the whole Walmart comment there, doesn't it? After all, what has your idol Sean Taylor done for anyone else other than himself?) dropped the arbitration with the skins so that they could work out a settlement. Seems to me his complaint must have had some merit, or else why would the Skins be willing to pay anything at all to him?
And I know you're an expert and all, but how have you determined in the handfull of games that Lavar has played under Williams's system that Lavar has not bought into the system and refuses to do anything other than his own thing? Where's the evidence of that?

PSUSkinsFan21 09-26-2005, 10:37 AM "As long as we're winning, I guess I can't complain too much," said the three-time Pro Bowl linebacker, who started but played just a handful of snaps. "You know how I am. I want to be out there trying to make a difference. I want to help. I thought the whole plan was to ease me back in, but that hasn't turned out to be true."
Wow, a guy who wants to earn his money and play and help the team anyway he can.........what a dick! Boy, you Lavar haters really got me there.
jbcjr14 09-26-2005, 10:40 AM They will unleash him this week. He should be 100% healthy and back into the flow. When he is on the field, good things happen for others as the offense must make sure they know where he is at all times.
I think he will be back in the "scheme" this week.

WTF? Bipolar disorder maybe?
That Guy 09-26-2005, 11:52 AM are you trying to say that taylor didn't pull a gun? because everyone who watches football knows that taylor did put a gun to some dude's face.
and you know this how? were you riding shotgun with him at the time? You can believe whatever you want, but that doesn't make it right or true, and there's NO way you can know what he did or didn't do for sure, because you weren't there.
