Luxorreb 09-20-2005, 04:08 AM Swear I think that hit was a fumble! 12thMan 09-20-2005, 04:10 AM don't know - but Taylor is a big time playmaker!!! JWsleep 09-20-2005, 04:15 AM Thought it definetly was. And there was a another fumble late in the 1st half. The guy on the Taylor play catches the ball, takes a step or two and WHAM, runs into #21. The whistle sounded, or we might have got it on review. Taylor steps up! Guess he felt bad about that flea-flicker--the roids have tricked him a few times now. Nice that he got the last laugh there. STPainmaker 09-20-2005, 04:24 AM Yeah this was definitely a fumble my freind and I rewound it on TiVo and it looked like a fumble for sure, 2 feet maybe 3 and posession. I know we all jock ST, but whenever he hits someone it looks so painful. Like when he threw Glenn out of bounds I just felt Glenn's pain, and when he teed off on Crayton...ouch. He has taken over the role of the being the hammer and not the nail from arrington. 12thMan 09-20-2005, 04:35 AM Save the flea-flicker, Taylor had a tremendous game! You know, I'm going to stop referring to him as a safety - he's just a great defensive player in my mind! Drift Reality 09-20-2005, 07:31 AM I watched the Taylor hit on Extremeskins and it gave me goose-bumps. I mean, the guy literally was in the air. I bet that makes him think twice the next time the 'Skins and Cowbitches play. itvnetop 09-20-2005, 07:49 AM even the roid fans are giving it up for that hit on crayton... taylor makes me happy he's on our team. AnonEmouse 09-20-2005, 08:13 AM Save the flea-flicker, Taylor had a tremendous game! You know, I'm going to stop referring to him as a safety - he's just a great defensive player in my mind! Actually I blame Springs for the FF. As far as I could see they were man to man and Springs bit on the run. Taylor, on the replay is split between 2 deep runners and initially went towards the run, and that's the real mistake he made. 2 guys go real deep on a run not looking to make blocks, and something is likely up. He actually got beat by Glenn on that long pass, on a later drive, but I think it was called back, so he got lucky. However, I don't care. That hit made the game. If he'd missed or let him get another step, the Pokes would likely have been close to FG range and still driving. The pressure was moved entirely to the Pokes to make a 3rd down instead of getting a 1st. Fumble or not (I also think it may have been), it was one hell of a hit! redsk1 09-20-2005, 08:49 AM It looked like a fumble. They had two noncalled fumbles. ArtMonkDrillz 09-20-2005, 09:06 AM I always thought it was considered a catch if the receiver turned up field, which Crayton did since he originally caught the ball with his back to the line of scrimmage. All I know is that the first half made me really upset, especially that "two minute drill" to end the half. BUT, the offense really stepped it up to end the game and the defense did exactly what they promised, they held the lead. Let's ride this, just like we rode the cowgirls in the final two minutes... And for those cowboys fans who were on here talking smack all last week: Care to take your heads out of your asses to comment on the fact that everytime you look at the troy/emmit/michael section of the ring of honor you have to remember how you blew it? |
