Though they gave up a lot of yards today they've played great, however, I still have one worry. No sacks and no turnovers forced in two weeks. They don't seem as aggressive or dominant as they were last year. Still play solid, but far too much prevent for my liking. Hey, if they do the job --who cares. Just wondering what others thought.

The front line isn't getting to the QB that really has me worried. I didnt like how the CBs were always playing like 5 yards of their WRs. However screw it we are 2 and 0 and it feels great.
Some people are hard to please, 20 points conceded in 2 games (half of which were gift wrapped) isn't too shabby.

Our defense is fine. We fell for one lousy flea-flicker (a good call by Parcells that I never saw coming). If it weren't for them, we would have had zero chance in this game.

The bend but don't break mentality worries me. I'd prefer no bending at all and breaking the other guy's back if possible.
I think it has a lot to do with the fact we've faced a couple of really good offensive lines.

You got to remember that Bill Parcells is so good at taking away one aspect of another team, no doubt he spent crazy time working on pass defense, he just didn't work on Roy Williams technique covering posts!!! :headbange

i sorta agree with what daseal said. we've only forced one turnover, that was lemar marshall's int vs. the bears, and we didn't have any sacks on dallas. i expect more from this unit in the future. also, why didn't matt bowen start today? he's not injured, did he get beat in a position battle with priouleau or something? and what about lavar, i think he should be starting by now, but i have no doubts he'll be starting in week 4.

we have an int and ff with fumble recovery by griffen, but the reason we don't get the turnovers is because our d line. If they can't pressure the quarterback by themselves it's hard to make the quarterback to make bad decisions.

Davy, It's not being hard to please, it's something I noticed vs Chicago, and I noticed it again tonight, I said multiple times our defense is playing great, but we seem different.
I didn't really see Arrington once, did he even really play?
