i don't think you can blame anyone for having their doubts; i did and in the heat of the moment up until the 4th qtr. i def. was getting irritated. i guess that's why i, like most ppl here, never turn off the games. instead of saying 'in your face' though i'd say something like "aren't you glad you were wrong? at least this week." i sure as hell am.

why all this attacking? brunell looked awful for 56minutes and then midnight stuck and he turned into a pro bowler, but whether its the scheme or him or whatever, we still had an awful 3+ quarters before turning the corner, so I'm still going to withhold judgement (brunell was great vs dallas last year too), but i'm glad we have the win and we'll see where it goes from here :)

You can withold judgement all you want. The fact is Brunell led this team like a true QB is supposed to. He kept them together and got the ball to the right player at the right time. And even rushed for 35yds. When it's all said and done, Brunell threw for more yds than Bledsoe, Moss caught for more yds than Terry Glenn and the Redskins are 2-0, sitting pretty with a bye week.

How many times did we dominate Dallas for four quarters only to lose on a stupid broken play? That's why you play until the clock says 0:00. Remember last year? We dominated the majority of the games we lost against Dallas, so it is fitting that we get a win in the same way they have beaten us. It's called karma. Or as the old folks say, "What goes around, comes around." Mark (Brunell) my words, we will win more games than anyone can imagine.

i understand all that, brunell turned into superman, but that doesn't mean he was great the first 56minutes. I'm withholding judgement cause i can't tell if the scheme + brunell's trust etc finally turned the corner or not yet. But if it has, i'll definately be happy to watch it :) But beyond that, a win is a win, and he's 1-0 vs dallas this year.

Man I'm not going to say shit at work. I'm going to sit there like we loss and let the accolades come to me. They know how crazy I am about the Redskins. I'm not even going to where anything burgundy and gold. Just sit there like I expected us to do what we did. Enjoy your two weeks.

Brunell played absolutely horrible for 3 quarters, if he can play anything like he did in the 4th consistantly, then fine. Otherwise, I still don't believe in him.

Just tell me what in Ramsey do you see that is any better? He is not ready. I hope to God he is some day!!! There is so much in his game he needs to work on!!!

Brunell's play was definitely not the problem with the offense. Our offense is moving the ball. Our drive Killers and in turn our offense killer was blitzes which turned to five sacks (Drive Killer). Penalties drive killers. If one of those two did not occur during several of the drives we would be talking much more points. I was one of those who doubted Brunell, but his play was very solid several scrambles out of the pocket to make plays to Cooley, Thrash, 2 scrambles that led to first downs with Santana then the two bombs. Dallas's blitzes created much problems rather than our offense not making plays.

the quick 2yard dump offs either in the scheme or whatever are also drive killers... we FINALLY opened up a bit at the end and we were able to move the ball much faster.

Portis is NOT supposed to have more catches than Patten, Jacobs and Cooley combined like he did last night. those check downs were what killed the drives. those dinky passes keep everyone in the box just as much as runs do.
