skinsguy - It certainly makes our defense look better, but has that ever really been the question with the Washington Redskins last and this year?
Even Theisman going against us.Daseal 09-18-2005, 04:21 PM skinsguy - It certainly makes our defense look better, but has that ever really been the question with the Washington Redskins last and this year? skinsguy 09-18-2005, 04:39 PM skinsguy - It certainly makes our defense look better, but has that ever really been the question with the Washington Redskins last and this year? I dunno...with some of the 27-6 predictions that people are giving tomorrow night's game against Dallas, I could see how that might be considered questioning our defense. Maybe they're thinking in terms of our offense not holding onto the ball long enough to give the D a rest. However, again, our offense held the ball quite a long time against the tough Bears defense. illdefined 09-18-2005, 04:45 PM sigh. nobody discuss. what do we know? just cheer. skinsguy 09-18-2005, 04:51 PM sigh. nobody discuss. what do we know? just cheer. What's that supposed to mean? :confused- BleedBurgundy 09-18-2005, 04:58 PM Maybe they're thinking in terms of our offense not holding onto the ball long enough to give the D a rest. But if Gibbs is preaching turnover free ball all week, maybe we'll slug out a win... skinsguy 09-18-2005, 05:03 PM I think that's the question... But if Gibbs is preaching turnover free ball all week, maybe we'll slug out a win... I think that's exactly what we need to be concerned about. Turnovers often lead to losses. Even if our offense isn't lighting it up, as long as we don't turn the ball over and play smart football, I see no reason why we wouldn't have a chance. I think Dallas is a good team, but they're not the freakin' world champs! illdefined 09-18-2005, 05:18 PM just the dueling sigs, all the animosity, and that the only welcome discussions are the ones dissing journalists who diss us. I think Dallas is a good team, but they're not the freakin' world champs! Hence Brunell starting. We would have lost against the bears with Ramsey in there the whole game. I am starting to understand brunell in there, I give him one game before i go against this decision. tommorrow is a big night for us skinsguy 09-18-2005, 07:00 PM just the dueling sigs, all the animosity, and that the only welcome discussions are the ones dissing journalists who diss us. Not sure why you say that? All of us have taken part in the dead horse of a thread discussing Ramsey and Brunell. And we all have discussed our confidence, or lack of, in Joe Gibbs. Maybe the journalists threads seem more welcome because we all mostly agree to disagree with the journalist; if that's that case, you can't expect everybody to agree with QB or coach issues. As far as the animosity, there's none on my end. I'm proud to be a Redskins fan! I enjoy it. I can't help if others aren't enjoying being fans. Finally, the dueling sigs...well, I'm not dueling with anybody, if someone feels I am, that's their problem not mine. skinsguy 09-18-2005, 07:04 PM Hence Brunell starting. I still say, tomorrow MIGHT dictate how the next few games will go for us. Beating the Cowboys could certainly boost this team! |
