joe gibbs is pissed and he wants one thing to cure his anger, which is dallas. he's more focused then ever, i think he's putting more thought into this game than any other one he's coached before, except maybe the superbowl.

Gibbs is Henry Winkler, Parcells is Jerry Reed. Who's gonna be the waterboy and tell Gibbs to brave up against Parcells by thinking of something demure and non-scary?

I thought he was cranky, not out of it.
Maybe Gibbs was doing his Parcell imitation.....Parcell is ALWAYS cranky :laughing-

looked to me like he had eaten some TACO BELL earlier in the day and he needed to get to a toilet as fast as possible before he relaxed his butt-cheeks and brown liquid would start to run down his legs.

I watched the interview again and I think coach Gibbs has a chip on his shoulder! I don't think that's bad thing however. I think he's starting to lose patience with mediocore players, just like the media and some fans have lost patience with him.
I also think last week's QB switch and Brown being cut is sending a message to the team. If we see a bunch of turnovers tomorrow night, I can guarantee you we'll see more cuts!

My feeling is that this is probably a side of Gibbs-tired, cranky, perhaps a bit agitated-that isn't all that uncommon. Yet, we the average fan rarely see it. We usually see Gibbs once he's had a chance to freshen up after a practice or game. I wouldn't worry too much about it, it's just Gibbs Unplugged (or something along those lines)

i like to see any emotion out of coach Gibbs. usually he's so focused on being neutral in front of the media, this means he's focused on other things.

Watch Gibbs' press conferences through the week. They're all much more lively and talkative in the early part of the week, and then much more tight and reticent as we get nearer to game day. I don't think this is out of the ordinary--in fact, some Wash. Post article mentioned this pattern (can't remember the date, pretty recent--maybe the one right as the preseason ended?). The guy wants to win--that's all he thinks about all the time. That's why he sleeps in his office, etc. And this is a big game, Monday night, Dallas, the QB situation. Yeah, the man is on edge.
BEAT DALLAS!!!!!
