BrudLee 09-18-2005, 10:48 AM I think he is getting fed up with those same reporters being nice to him in these interviews going out and writing shit like he made stupid choices, has lost it, etc... He will continue to say your not getting full cooperation from me to make your stories and the crap you write. Very prideful man and is going to be coaching with a chip on his shoulder to shut up the speculation about him and his team.
That's an excellent observation. My dad ran for office in 2004, and you could definitely tell which reporters were treating you nicely only to smack you in print. The hardest part about it is that it can't affect your dealings with them. When you talk to a reporter, you are actually talking to the fans (or voters, as the case may be). So even though he knows Nunyo is going to bash him, Gibbs has to smile and answer his questions without complaint.
diehardskin2982 09-18-2005, 11:56 AM Curious, he did look a bit agitated. My dad is diabetic, and even though he regulates his blood sugar really well, there are times occasionally when it gets a bit high or a bit low. He stays right on top of it, as I'm sure Gibbs does. But it definitely affects his mood because he'll start to feel a bit shaky and uncomfortable. Could be that's what drove it.
Then again, he could just be boiling over with intense hatred of Parcells and the Cowboys!

I think u r right he may have not eaten at the time of the interview and needed to get his blood-sugar up. I hope his son keeps an eye on him and doesn't let him get to out of control
Beemnseven 09-18-2005, 11:58 AM Looks to me like he just got finished watching game film of the Cowboys and decided to hit the bottle of Old Grandad. Then, he stumbled out of his office and saw the cameras.
Or maybe he got bored out of his mind with those sleep-inducing questions about Novak, the return game, and Ryan Clark. ... snore...
My guess is he's been burning some serious midnight oil preparing for this game.
12thMan 09-18-2005, 12:19 PM I watched it like....3 this morning (couldn't sleep) and thought, wow this isn't Joe Gibbs at all. It really threw me....I'm actually worried.
To me he seemed frustrated with something or really concerned about something. Seemed really antsy, couldn't stay still for some reason.
It's Dallas week and he's facing his rival Parcells. Those are two huge motivators for him.
Skinfomaniac 09-18-2005, 12:37 PM :frusty:I saw the same thing and didnt know what the hell ?? seemed to be pissed and maybe he chewed on some asses Who Knows???:coach:

BleedBurgundy 09-18-2005, 12:47 PM Hasn't anyone had a lot of shit to do and had some idiot asking a bunch of stupid questions? That's all that was. Nothing to be alarmed over. He's taking some heat for his offense, the Dallas game is the second biggest of the year (next to when we have them at home) and he probably was in the middle of 3 different things. I'm not concerned. In today's PC world, you can't just tell a reporter to fuck off, even if his mic says redskins.comTV on it...

That was in the back of my mind too. I think these so called reporters just re-hash the same old bull*** questions just to make it like they are "reporting" news.
I'm convinced more than half the fans on this site could ask more meaningful questions other than, what about this guy or that guy, or do you think the Dallas fans are mad at you? How ridiculous was that question?

My fiancee is diabetic and when her blood sugars are out of wack, she can get kind of cranky. I'm sure with the stress of preparing for Dallas this week, Gibbs is probably burning the candle on both sides....very hard on a diabetic.
