A warning to all Warpath membersBossHog 09-18-2005, 08:33 PM Who cares? I wish there was a smiley that resembled the punk! Wait. Here's one. Open up "Trouble"... jermus22 09-19-2005, 12:07 PM I definitely respect Coles for his attempt to help others while sharing a painful memory. Best of wishes to the man; I hope he does well in NY. cpayne5 09-19-2005, 12:09 PM Who cares? I wish there was a smiley that resembled the punk! Wait. Here's one. Open up "Trouble"... You are the weakest link. Goodbye. Bozzy 09-19-2005, 01:51 PM Coles: A good person, terrible football player. JoeRedskin 09-19-2005, 02:10 PM BossHog, - very poor taste. Did you not read the first post in this thread?? FRPLG 09-19-2005, 02:19 PM While I don't agree with the "who cares?" part (I tend to care a lot since I have a daughter and that tends to strengthen your resolve to have people who do this kind of thing killed in very painful and tedious ways) I won't simply give the guy a free pass on the way he treated our beloved Redskins organization. He definitely deserves our respect for being open and honest about this because it could help others out there come out about abuse. But it does not give one the right to be a punk. He was a punk when he treated the Redskins the way he did and this doesn't really change that perception. Maybe I won't look upon him with such disdain now but I still will hiold agrudge about the Skins deal. That Guy 09-19-2005, 02:31 PM Coles: A good person, terrible football player. cortez is terrible, ade is on the verge of terrible... coles wasnt worth the money after his injury, but is definately not terrible ;) FRPLG 09-19-2005, 02:38 PM cortez is terrible, ade is on the verge of terrible... coles wasnt worth the money after his injury, but is definately not terrible ;) Yeah there's no way you can call hima terrible football player. If not for the toe injury he is a top 6 or 7 WR. That is far from terrible. jbcjr14 09-19-2005, 02:43 PM Yeah there's no way you can call hima terrible football player. If not for the toe injury he is a top 6 or 7 WR. That is far from terrible. Not too mention he has scored more TD's this year than our whole offense..... Schneed10 09-19-2005, 02:53 PM Yeah there's no way you can call hima terrible football player. If not for the toe injury he is a top 6 or 7 WR. That is far from terrible. You can't just separate the toe problem from the player. One of the big reasons he has the toe problem is because he refuses to get it fixed. And it's not like you can sign a guy and say, "hey, we'll sign you to a multi-million-dollar contract, but you can't bring your toe with you." While I don't think Coles is "terrible" (I'd save that term for Todd Pinkston), he's definitely not going to help anybody win anything in the NFL. With that toe issue he is reduced to nothing more than a posession WR. While I sympathize with his childhood plight, I can't stand him. He's self-centered in the way he demands to be used in an offense, and all the while he can't produce that way because he won't get his toe fixed. Good riddance. |
