I'm going 27-10 Skins in the belief that Gibbs pulls out all the stops cause nothing will regain the hopes of the Redskins faithful like a nice victory in Dallas going into the bye week!

Dallas 13
Washington 6

Just don't see us scoring much with Brunell at QB.

I slept with a Redskins fan last night and we are going to stick it the Redskins like I stuck it to her last night! and yes it was a blow out.

That's a terrible way to talk about your mother.

Redskins 27
Cowturds 13

It will be close through the third quarter, but we will wear them down and our D will score a TD on an INT by Taylor to seal the game in the 4th. We will win the turnover battle....our D will get 3 and Brunell will throw one INT on a tipped pass.
Skins TD's by Portis and Patten. Portis will get just over 100 yds. Jones will be held to under 50. Bledsoe will get sacked 4 times, Brunell once or twice...his scrambling ability will help him make plays, unlike Bledsoe the statue.

I just have a feeling that the Skins will be really focused and determined to win this game, while the Cowboys will have been reading a little too much of their own press and think that it will be easy win because "they always beat the Redskins".....just a gut feeling....

This isn't a pretty pick but I say 12-0 Skins. It would be an ugly win but I would take it. Either way I would bet the under tonight.

A lot of coaches know the book on Bledsoe, since he's been in the league so long and his flaws and weaknesses are well-documented (sits in the pocket like a statue, prone to mistakes and turnovers, tends to crumble under pressure). Hopefully, Williams's experience with Bledsoe will be beneficial for the Washington defense on Monday night, but Wade Phillips has plenty of experience coaching against Bledsoe, and it didn't seem to help the Chargers defense in Week 1.

The Chargers were able to sack Bledsoe 4 times last week, but Bledsoe did not turn the ball over, despite the pressure from the Charger defense. The Redskins defense could be more effective at pressuring and confusing Bledsoe, but they will need to force turnovers in order to give the Redskins offense a chance to score, and that's where I start to get concerned.

The Redskins' defense may indeed fare better against the Cowboys than the Chargers did-- at least initially-- but the Redskins' offense is unlikely to be as successful as the Chargers were. In fact, I would say that this Redskins offense is more likely to turn the ball over and present more scoring opportunities for the Cowboys, even with Brunell at quarterback. And with Brunell at quarterback, the offense will probably see more three-and-out drives, since Brunell-- like Brees-- is less likely to attempt the "riskier" throw that will probably be necessary to move the ball against this Cowboys defense. That puts the Redskins' defense at a disadvantage.

I think this game will be close early on, but as the defense spends more and more time on the field, and Julius Jones gets to keep pounding away at them, the Cowboys offense will start finding chinks in Gregg Williams' armor.

This game really could go either way, and I agree it will be a defensive struggle, but I'm giving the Cowboys the homefield nod. Their defense will benefit from the crowd noise and force more turnovers and three-and-outs than the Redskins defense will be able to overcome. The offense would need to play virtually flawless football, and I just don't see that happening. It never does against the Cowboys.

You gotta big set Joe to post that on your own board-

Heck, I understand how you're feeling because I was that way for the better part of the last 5 seasons because you just dont believe or have faith andfyou see other teams passing you by

Cowboys/Redskins aside, thats why Im so excited about the '05 Boys

Started with the trade with Buffalo last year--trading down 20 or so slots last year into early round 2, got a 5th and got their #1 pick in this years draft

So, for JP Losman, we got Julius Jones, Sean Ryan, and Marcus Spears--and we wound up with Buffalo's QB of the last 3 seasons in Bledsoe

Parcells goes back to his roots and goes to a 3-4...Replaced chief scout Larry Lacewell with Jeff Ireland and had potentially best draft since the "Dirty Dozen"--every pick made this year made the team including 3 UDFA's

Great UDFA signings and trade to get Fujita for 2 6th round picks

We've got just under 5 mil in cap room and more next year whenever the next CBA gets approved

For the Redskins fans sake, I cap hell part II isnt as bad as it might be

And starting in '07 the skins keep (and add) draft picks instead if using them to get has been's and over-paying them grotesquely

3 or 4 draft selections a year suck-

A good draft with multiple picks, drafting wisely, and prudent FA PU's is the only way to have quality depth in this day and age

Philly, NE, Pittsburgh are the models

Snyder really needs to watch what is now going on in Dallas
