honestly though, the games will only look significantly better on an HDTV. a 360 on a normal TV wont be near the graphical jump from the last generation jump.
the games certainly won't play any better for a while. all the early games are simply high resolution versions of current games, and if you can't see all that resolution, you're going to be pretty disappointed.

Well, I have a HD TV that supports 720p and 1080i resoulutions. This new system is going to be incredibly good. It may take a few months for the game makers to figure out how to maximize the power of this thing, but I think if you have an HDTV, the shit will be leaps above what you see now.

HDTV is 4x as many pixels, so its going to take a LOT of extra cpu (which the 360 hopefully will have) to use it.

there are a handful of XBOX1 games that can do 720p. difference is night and day. and thats the minimum for all 360 games.
