Check out the excellent Williams press conference on skins.com:

He agrees with your assessment, Wanga--contain the run, and this D works great. If not, could be trouble a brewin. Contain Jones, keep the roids in 2nd and 3rd-and long, and then bring selective heat. Everything turns on good run D.

The defense looks great, I was worried about Walt Harris's corner spot (still am, especially with Terry Glenn coming up, also afraid Price may get past Springs a time or two when he takes over for Keyshawn.) Only thing I didnt like was the lack of pressure on Orton. We didn't rattle him, and we have GOT to hit Bledsoe.

I dunno, maybe Orton is one of those guys who just doesn't get rattled. I remember when Gus started for us..in his first game, we score over 40+ points.

Bledsoe is notorious for unravelling after taking alot of shots. Hopefully we can take back to the good ol days soon. He took some hits vs the Chargers but managed to keep his composure. Hopefully we can do something else to get pressure with 4 down lineman. I think in all honesty the Bears O line is better than the boys so maybe by just stunting, and outplaying there line we can get pressure. We'll see in 4 days.

i think putting bledsoe on his back is priority #1 through 10, I don't think JJ will be that hard to stop while blitzing from the gap and the ends... and JJ isn't the one that put up 3 tds last week either.

I said it last year and I still think that our D has a great ability to take away the run, I would rather have a team try to beat us via the air attack than run the ball down our throats. Also Glenn may pose a problem for Harris but dont forget that our secondary has safties that could, in emergency situations, play corner also. So there will be help there to cover Glenn.

Allowed 166 total yds. #2 overall in defense. #1 in the NFC. Least points allowed in the NFC East. It can only get better.
