It's funny that every other team that won, no matter how ugly, atleast maintained their spot.

We win and fall a spot from 26th to 27th.
Dallas wins and jumps 13 spots to 10th.

Of course we didn't score a TD, but we also didn't give up almost 30 points on defense.

I love watching power rankings like I love reading comics. Just something else to clip and pin for later in the season...

ah, it's only power rankings. i think the highest we were ranked in all of the power rankings i've seen was 21st. don't expect good things, no matter how good our defense is. right now, the only thing people want to hear about is the qb controversy.

pretty onvious the sudden qb switch after the win is why we fell

They should be called opinion rankings, after all isn't that what they really are?

Matty, Opinion Rankings that are often pretty accurate in describing the state of the team. While some we dont agree with need to do something to lose a top spot. We didn't score a TD, we have a new quarterback, etc.

Also, Dallas beat a team that won a pretty decent division last year. We barely beat the Chicago Bears who had a worse record than we did.

I don't think that Dallas should be ranked so high however. So if we beat them Monday should we go up to #7?

I agree with the ranking. Lets remember our "NEW Starting Quaterback" threw for 70 yards in 2 and half quaters. The offense is gonna take few steps back.

that'd mean negative yards.

Again, let's all remember that if Moss wouldn't have run after he caught the ball it would have been WAAAAAAAAAAAY less. Brunell's passes were caught and stopped after the catch. I would say both played comparably.

you kidding? catching receivers in stride (or in a position to go upfield) is the holy grail of quarterbacking. throwing safe dink dunk curls and outs that just tired out our offense and never got us any points is what killed us last season.
