Im still trying to figure out how my "Doomsday Bandwagon" got locked, but this one cuts it with the Joe Gibbs Kool Aid Crowd. Hmmmmmm.

What do you mean the Joe Gibbs Kool Aid Crowd? This thread is asking is now the time to just see what Jason Campbell can do. Yours was basically saying everything sucks, who wants to ride off a cliff with me.

If we want to be the Bears, then start Campbell, otherwise Brunell is a much better choice right now. Who knows, I don't wish anything bad on Brunell, but what happens the next time he gets hit and has to come out? Who goes in, Ramsey or Campbell? Wouldn't it be interesting if Brunell got hurt and Ramsey lead a great comeback error free!

This shit is getting ridiculous. Everyone, with the exception of a few, have written this team off due to the QB change. With a defense as good as this one, anything is possible here people. Don't give up hope!!! I don't agree with the change either, but I do know that Gibbs knows football and the team he is coaching a hell of alot better than any of us.

Lets hope like hell he is right on this and stand behind it 100%. If it doesn't work out over the long term, then we can question the judgement of the king. But until then, all these threads about starting Campbell and Ramsey getting the shaft should come to an end until he has actually killed the teams chances. And to the best of my knowledge, that hasn't happened yet...even with a loss Monday Night in Dallas, it wouldn't be a disaster.

Clearly that's not the case for all rookie QBs. Roethlisberger had a 98.1 passer rating his rookie year, 17 TDs, 11 INTs, only 2 fumbles and a 66.4% completion percentage, and the minor detail of being undefeated until the AFC championship game. I'd call that damn efficient and mistake free.

Now, granted, Roethlisberger is the exception, not the rule. I still don't see it being much worse than it is.

I didn't make it to any of the preseason games, but can anyone comment on Campbell's ability? I remember him well from college, but he seemed to have incredibly limited play time this preseason. The only game I can remember was the last preseason and he threw several int's but I think he played fairly well in the first two. I think if Brunell does not put us in the win colum after about five games I'd say get Campbell in.

I totally Agree!! as do the twenty or so guys that watch the redskins games at spectators sports bar in Kent Wa, all that came out of the mouth of one of the guys last sunday was Jason Campbell!!! Let the kid do what he was drafted to do we all know Ramsey cant get it done!!! and as for Brunell if he gets racked just once he,s done. so i will repeat!! in the words of my fellow redskin Brian!!( JASON CAMPBELL!!!):dallas:

Absolutely not......for all of the reasons I said we shouldn't have drafted him to begin with........he just isn't capable of grasping an NFL offense (yet / maybe ever). Count me in as one person who will never be on this bandwagon (and yes, I still hope I'm wrong about him).

That's what I don't get either. I mean it's one thing to say you disagree with the decision to bench Ramsey. That he deserves to stay on as the starter. But I don't really follow the logic of Gibbs is a backstabbing liar and now the season is over and now there is no way the Redskins can be any good. They just suck. End of story.

Put the rookie in! J. Campbell would do no worse than Brunell. I'm ordering my No. 17 jersey this week.
