Do you support Gibbs' decision to start Brunell? (Merged)

Wasn't hard for HOF Coach Gibbs. I figurred it when P.Ram wasn't allowed to go back in.

Not at all. Gibbs stock just plummetted with me. He stuck with Brunell through 8 horrendous games last year and gave Ramsey the hook after 1 quarter, that was terrible. He publicly lied about Ramsey really being the starter. I'm very disappointed with Gibbs. I guess we'll have to get used to more games where we score under 10 points. I don't feel good about this at all.

Fact of the matter is Ramsey is not read yet! He just may need more time!!! We have a better chance of winning with Brunell then Ramsey. Monday night in Dallas Ramsey would have little chance of getting the job done. I am not saying that Brunell will do that much better but he has been in games at the other guys home under fire. I just have this feeling that Brunell can pull this off with a week with the first O!

I noticed an interesting comment from Coach Gibbs while I was just watching his press comferance where he made the anouncement on Redskins.com TV. He said he looked to the past to take notes from and he talked about Mark Rypien being on the IR for 2 years, then get his chance to play and throwing 9 interceptions in 8 games. He said they kept trying to get it across to Ryp not to allow so many turn overs and they worked with him in drills and such. But the biggest thing Joe Gibbs thought got across to Rypien was this... he sat Rypien and let some one else be the starter. He said Rypien learned from that experience and the next time he was prepared to take the reigns and be the starter. You all know what happened then. SUPERBOWL MVP, BABY, YEAH!! "I'M GOING TO DISNEY WORLD, WHOOOO!!"

I just watch Ramsey miss Recievers all perseason. Nine points in a game is not going to get it done. So why are we so bad on the O side of the ball???? Nine line,Good backs and pretty good WR and TE. So is it Bad QB's, Play calling or just the way we are going about attacking D's? Ramsey had his chance all perseason with the first O and now I think Burnell should get his to see if it can get better. You never know Burnell could be our D.Williams!!!! :cheers

Well, the last guy to play QB for us that was named Mark led us to the Superbowl, ya know?! But then again, the last QB to where number 11 won us a Superbowl so take yer pick. :D

There is no good QB choice for the skins now. PR does not have 'it' and MB has pretty much lost 'it'. As for the rookie, rookies just are not successful in this league.
