I know this is REALLY random but i need to know this. Does Marcus Washington play "strongside" or "weakside" linebacker?? And does Tommy Harris play the 2 gap or 1 gap?? I thought my fellow football fanatics might be able to help me out.

Washington usually plays on the strong side, but in Gregg Williams' D, players can show up anywhere.

Last I heard was that the reason why we got Washington was so that Greg Williams could move Arrington back to his natural position at "weakside LB". So if that is true then Washington is our "strongside LB". But as mentioned earlier GW's LB's can be anywhere.
As for Tommy Harris I have no clue...

TEs move on the line all the time though, and suddenly the roles are reversed

I'm pretty sure Harris plays the 1 gap

Washington plays strongside, while Holdman plays the weakside. Arrington is behind Holdman for at least one game.

holdman is able to play middle as well and might see action there in some packages later in the season (as per GW).

I believe illdefined is saying that the strongside linebacker lines up over Tight End by definition. However, if the TE goes in motion then suddenly the weakside linebacker becomes the strongside backer
