"Being an artist and musician, Philadelphia offers me more opportunities that Washington did," McCants said. "I sing R&B and I’m going to have some new music on my Web site Darnerien.com pretty soon."

hey he answered me...Q) Hey Dmac, I'm a lifetime skins fan, but I just wanna say I'm pretty dissapointed that you're leaving us. I do appreciate the class you're showing on your site towards the team, and hope you have a long lucrative career in the NFL. I'm sure there's a team out there who's in need of your talents and you're gonna be a super star. I've always been a big supporter of your efforts and accomplishments on and off the field. Just be yourself man. Peace.

A) well its a business and i would have loved to stay here win lose or draw but
being ill willed will get me no where but in a worst situation. Besides i have
grown to love my teammates and they didnt pass judgment on me and that
was the best feeling.
its on his website

well he knows his limmits and he knows he'll most likely never get the chance to become an upper escelon reciever, so he's exploring other options... Can't hate that

he'll be fine in philly, I looked at the teams he said contacted him, and i think philly gives him the best chance to start AND be successful... he might start in NY or TB, but those QBs aren't nearly as good and neither team is good either. In SD, GB or Cinncy he couldn't get beyond #3 or 4 on the depth chart no matter what.

Quite frankly, I'm glad he's gone. He took a couple of subtle pot shots in that article like, "finally get to play for a winning team" and that "I worked hard". ...riiiight. The article then goes on to say that he will play predominantly on special teams! HA! He got cut because he couldn't or wouldn't play teams. What a joke. Now I really want to beat Philly more than ever.

those aren't pot shots, what's he supposed to say? "I really mailed it in with my last team and I don't care"... that'll really get him hired in a hurry.

He was already hired. Didn't need to say anything. He didn't need to make any comments about his time in DC.

Gibbs shitted on McCants and McCants returned the favor. Comparing McCants to Monk and then criticizing him for not playing special teams is like demanding every offensive player play defense every now and then. Now that I reflect on all of the WRs Gibbs let go, none of them ( Coles, Gardner, McCants, Dyson) played special teams. I guess that's why injury proned Jacobs made the team without having to play for it because he's a special teams guy. Get the F#4k out of here. Best of Luck McCants. Although we need it more than he does.
