espn is reporting sage might get the starting job,I always liked him when he was here, and thought he never got a fair shake, especially in miami where their qbs have sucked worse then ours,I hope he gets the job,I'd like to see what he can do

Not that we should do it, but does anyone think we could get anything from Mami for Brunell after his improvements this year?

Check Ricky Williams stats vs starters. They very well might be after 4 games. If I were going to Vegas, I'd bet the Dolphins get over 5 wins.

well, i'd be a bit surprised to see him opening day, but i think they've got great quarterback depth, as long as you're okay with crap QBs, that is.

Word is Frerotte gets the start and it's a battle for #2 between Feeley and Sage. Would be interesting to see if they end up with 2 ex-Skins QB's as #1 and #2!

With Hass in NY possibly starting until Manning is fit and Green in KC (possibly out due to knee problem though), we could end up with at least 3 ex-Skins starting at QB on opening day!

I don't think Gibbs is going to trade Brunell, not after his solid showing in preseason. But I do think his trade value has gone up a lot and teams have taken note of that - trust me!

I would imagine that Phillip Rivers or Drew Brees name is and will come up this year in trade talks. I think Rivers could end up in Chicago, Miami, or even Detroit before the years out.

Like I said on another thread, don't be suprised if Sage sees the field this year...and don't be suprised if old Wayne H. is calling Snyder about PR or Brunell if things get worse down there.

It would more than likely be more of a financial hit if we did anything with Brunell at this point.

It's a lose-lose anyway you look at it for Miami. Feeley & Frerotte are borderline starters. Personally I'd take my chances with Gus, at least he's worked in that offense before in Minnesota.

Rosenfels is a career backup, if he ends up starting a bunch of games for them it's not a good thing.
