2004 Standings:
Seahawks 9-7
Rams 8-8
Cardinals 6-10
49ers 2-14
My predictions for 2005:
Rams 11-5: We know they can score, they just need the D to step it up a notch. Steven Jackson looks like a monster.
Seahawks 9-7: The Seahawks remind me of the Saints in a way. They never live up to their hype.
Cardinals 7-9: They'll be improved, I'm not buying all the hype they're getting though. Kurt Warner just turns it over way too much.
49ers 3-13: ouch.

Rams 9-7: Looking good so far, that's for sure. Steven Jackson is a man-beast. I don't think much of Mike Martz though. He overthinks himself.
Seahawks 8-8: They take a step back. Lost their right tackle, and don't have much at WR.
Cardinals 8-8: I think they'll be decent, Warner and those receivers can put up some points. JJ Arrington makes for a good back too, I think. I'm not sure the offensive line is there. And there is trouble in the secondary, Antrel Rolle is the only guy back there with any talent, and he's a rookie.
49ers 2-14: Suckiest bunch of sucks that ever sucked.

Rams 10-6: I see great things in store for the Rams. Bulger is looking great, the WR corp is solid with Curtis stepping up as a great #3 guy. The RB situation is spectacular with Jackson and Faulk coming off the bench and in passing situations. The defense is still the weakness of this team, but it should be a little better and this offense will be able to hang with just about any offense they play. 10-6 may actually be a little low.
Seahawks 9-7: I think Hassleback has a good year. I see them locking up Alexander to a long-term deal and him continuing to be perhaps the NFL's most consistent performer at RB. WR may actually be better without K. Robinson f-ing everything up.....but still leaves much to be desired. Defense should be decent, but not great. This team just has to learn how to hold on and win games. Possible wildcard.
Cardinals 8-8: Dennis Green gets this team to "respectable". Love their WR corp, RB is improved over last year, and defense looks not bad. Main concern: can the O-line give Warner enough time to get the ball to those great WRs?.....because we all know Warner is no good under pressure.
49ers 3-13: I'm amending my prior statement that the Titans and Browns would battle for the #1 pick in the draft.......It'll be the 49ers or Browns. I learned a while ago that if you don't have something nice to say, don't say it at all.....so........

Rams: 11-5: I've been telling Redskins_P for a few weeks now that it's the year of the Rams in the NFC. That's right, the Rams are going back to the Super Bowl.
Cardinals: 8-8: They're getting there but still not quite there yet
Seahawks: 5-11: I think they're going to have an abysmal fall.
Niners: 2-14: Schneed put it best when he invoked the great Homer, "suckiest bunch of sucks that ever sucked"

rams, hawks, cards, niners... niners will be one of the worst this year, but i dont think that was really in doubt... why don't they go ahead and turn it over to alex smith? I mean, its not like they're competing for a playoff berth.
