No real surprises I guess.
We knew McCants was coming, Smith is a bit surprising but it's a numbers game at LB.
Some of these guys could be practice squad material.
As for the Jimoh haters, the guy is a solid special teams guy, so don't be surprised if he sticks around again.

That Guy 08-29-2005, 12:52 PM smith is a bit surprising, but in the games he got a bunch of penalties and didn't look super solid, so i can see why he's gone... we have at least 6 LBs better then him and 2 are stand out special teamers (mccune, K campbell)... and keasey will probably make it too...
our camp roster has been thin at CB all offseason, so its no surprise is AJ makes it again, there's just not enough competition there (maybe we should have tried out?)

My gut feeling is White makes the practice squad. They haven't shown him at any games, so I doubt any teams will try to sign him.

I didn't like the Newberry pick he looked to slow and stiff in his college highlights, I also have a strong feeling that White is on his way to the practice squad. I defiently like this kid Keasey, he may be our feel good player of the year, kid really looks like he knows what he's doing out there, and he's very quick, I can see William's finding a way to really utilize him.
