Darrell Russell, oft-suspended DT and club drug afficianado, has been cleared to play by the league. When do you think some dope will call for his signing?

Kevikazi 08-28-2005, 11:53 AM Darrell Rusell is washed up. He didn't play well for us or Tampa Bay when he was given his second chance. I'm sure someone will pick him up when/if their D-line is decimated with injuries. skinsfanthru&thru 08-28-2005, 01:05 PM if a team has an injury that makes them desperate enough, he'll be getting a call. DT is a position that teams r almost always trying to find warm bodies to play 10-25 plays a game. la73hof 08-28-2005, 01:24 PM if a team has an injury that makes them desperate enough, he'll be getting a call. Thankfully, (and mercifully) we dont need him MTK 08-28-2005, 01:49 PM I'd be surprised if anybody actually picks this guy up. I think he's worn out his welcome in the NFL. Sheriff Gonna Getcha 08-28-2005, 02:09 PM I hate to agree with profootballtalk.com, but I wouldn't be terribly surprised if the Broncos picked him up. Brud, I love how you used "dope" in this Darrell Russell poll. Classic use of homographs (is that right, homographs?). Your 4th grade English teacher, Mrs. Grundy, would be proud VishsSkins 08-28-2005, 05:55 PM I hate to agree with profootballtalk.com, but I wouldn't be terribly surprised if the Broncos picked him up. lol he would fit right in with all the studs they picked up from the browns. Your 4th grade English teacher, Mrs. Grundy, would be proud I don't know about "homographs". Does one time in college count? JOKES! firstdown 08-29-2005, 01:57 PM Is Russell the guy we took a risk on who had back problems the year before. If I'm correct with who he is I thought he played pretty good for us and we tried to sign him to a longer contrect. From what it sounds we were lucky that he went else where. |
