Okay, the last I heard Matt Bowen got carted off to a hospital in an ambulance, and now I can't find any info about it. I thought I asked about it after the game last night, but can't find my post. Does anybody know what the hell happened to him, and what are you guy's thoughts as who will be a forerunner for his replacement. Even if he comes back, the guy gets hurt alot. I love him and everything and wish him the best, but we need some consistancy in the SS position. Prileau and Stoutmire have done okay, but where does clark fit in? I thought he'd have the best shot.

Bowen's injury apparently isn't that serious. Initially the coaches were concerned that he might have internal injuries, but testing revealed those fears to be baseless. Bowen will be back soon.

I think I heard from Comcast Sportsnet that Bowen has cracked ribs....but, I can't find any other sources to confirm it.

Bowen will be fine. They thought he might have internal injuries, but he doesn't. Gibbs is quoted as saying he has bruised ribs and they expect him to bounce back pretty quickly. Skins are not sure if he'll play Thursday night or not. May keep him out as a precaution.

we are lucky to have depth there but i like bowen. It is hard to say because we really only saw him in one game last year and he was amazing, if he stays that good with GW he is the obvious choice.

I like Clark

GW said they have 17 different personell groupings. I would think he could find a fit in most of those

I really don't like Bowen at all, but even before the injury the redskins.com depth chart listed Clark as the starting SS with Bowen as backup.
