I agree with Cpayne. Nemo is just a rookie and already looks like the best short yardage back we've had in years. They arent competing to be the backup RB, they are competing to be the short yardage back. I think Nemo has it in the bag already.

Rock will make it over Nemo... All Nemo has is size but he fumbles in clutch times Nemo is practice squad. he needs a year to develop futher
No way in hell. The way Nemo has run guys over so far, he's the only guy on our roster capable of giving us a big bruising option for goalline situations.
Rock is tiny. He's less than 220 lbs now. Betts is bigger. If Rock makes it he'll be there for special teams only.
I can't see Rock making it over Nemo.
Nemo has really been impressive and the coaches have raved about him.

Noble is not getting cut & you heard it from me here. I can not see them cutting the tree-man!

erm, i doubt they would cut noble after the way he has really tried to come back through his injuries. He helps with the rotation between him and salave'a. all three dt's are virtual locks to make the squad.

If you check post #7, Noble was an inadvertent omission.

I think both Nemo and Rock will make it if for nothing else than ST guys!

Manuel White is a fourth-rounder--I very much doubt he doesn't get a shot on the squad.
Also, not sure we take that many O-linemen--maybe Wilson is gone, and we take another WR, TE, or DB. Or maybe McCune gets on for specials?
Can we practice-squad Wilson?

One thing people forget in 03 he was 9of13 in shortyardage and thats pretty good average. Last year I think he got lost in the mix of things and did not get the chances he earned in 2003.
