I've watched these two games probably more than all of you put together. Stoutmire will make the team and to reiterate what Greg Williams says, 'Everyone is a starter who makes the team'. :oink:

Prioleau has played better, is more versatile and is well known to Williams. This is why he'll be around come the first game.

Anyone noticed Garnell Wilds 'steppin' up' and Jimoh 'steppin' back'? :oink:

What I'm not sure about is the speed that Omar possesses. If he can run like close to the speed of a corner, Williams could keep him for his versatility in some packages.

Jimoh still has trouble against first string coverage. With the additions to special teams, that part of his game won't get him on the roster this year.

Absolutely, these are the gutwrenching moments in the preseason. When one player obviously is not up to par, and another is fighting like hell to go up in the depth chart. Wilds looks like he's hungry and Jimoh looks like burnt toast.

I think that I am firmly on record here in my belief that Ade Jimoh is a marginal NFL player.

Having said that - and taking this opportunity to reiterate that belief - I did not think that Garnell Wilds distinguished himself in ANY way against the Bengals. Wilds got beat like a snare drum by a WR who was so excited by his exhibition game performance that when he caught a TD pass against Wilds - and Stoutmire who was late on the help coverage - that the WR kept the ball. That tells me that he is not fully convinced he will make the Bengals' roster...

Whatever.

If injuries force the Skins to play either Wilds or Jimoh as the starting QB for 16 games this year, the results are not likely to be "uplifting" to Redskins' fans.

I'm pretty sure that both Wilds and Jimoh are buried deep, deep, deep on the QB depth chart...DB is another question

TAFKAS:

Thank you for catching my typo. As QBs, both of those guys would be horrendous beyond words.

I meant to say that if the Skins were forced to start and play either one of these gentlemen at starting CB (cornerback) for 16 weeks, the results are not likely to be pretty...

Who knows, maybe QB is Jimoh's calling. His hidden (very hidden) talent
