You guys get the concept of "lock on" receiver? after the snap of the ball?
I notice, at times you can make passes to receviers outside the cone ... so I'm not sure why you need to do that lock on thing? I'm going a little crazy with the new passing mode...

Yeah, just watch the field and you can lock the cone on a reciever pre-snap. Sometimes you can actually look off a safety, then press Rtrigger and the button of the open reciever, let off r and throw it. The only thing that sucks about it is that in Joe Gibbs playbook there's no shotgun formation. If you get an aggressive defense and us playaction passes where the recievers are on a long route, or your first look is well covered, you usually take a sack because of lack of time. I usually Change Cooley's route to an out route if I'm trying something like that and preset the cone to his rt. Then you can sometimes check down to him and throw it high to him and have him out jump most LB's and Safeties to grab the ball. He's pretty good at catching bullets and jump balls in the game, and will break tackles.

I hate to admit it but I'm getting good at it. I use to try to use the right thumbstick to navigate QB Vision, but now I use the right trigger method as desribed above. You got to make quick reads and 'precision' is a holdover so it was natural to employ that. My advice for you guys still having difficulty is to put the game down for a while. It takes quite a bit of coordination. No. I'm not winning every game (I play on the Madden level) but, haven't thrown a INT in my last couple of games. That's an accomplishment itself. :oink:
