THE DIRTBAGS!!!!! OWNED. HAIL TO THE REDSKINS AND HAIL JOE BUGEL> WHAT THE HAIL I NEVER SAW THE GLORY DAYS BUT DAMN HE TURNED THAT SHEEEEET AROUND!!!!!!

I know some don't like to talk about old school, but THE HOGS were a beauty to be hold.......DOMINATED and opened holes for Riggo, and allowed the QB and THE POSSE (WRS) to provide a balanced attack.....

:httr: and THE HOGS.............

I have to commend you on your support of Ramsey. Are you not concerned at all. Jake Delhomme didn't seem to have much of a problem moving the ball, even without Muhammad. Oh, and I don't think he had much time to "gel" with Rod Gardner.

Gardner really only had one good "gel" catch.

The touchdown came as Dehlomme was running for his life about to be sacked and threw up a prayer off his back foot. It could have just as easily been an int if Springs were back there.

I'm just saying, with all the talk about needing time to get used to playing with the starters, I think Ramsey would have been a little better by now. I mean, he was working all off season. Someone needs to tell him he has more time than he thinks to throw.

NO! It WOULD have been a pick if (healthy)Springs was back there. Not hating on Gardner over that catch, just hating on Ade. That guy is such a liability. He's got to go.

I agree totally man.........if I have to see Ramsey's feet pitter patter back in the pocket, as if he were going to piss himself, all season......I will lose it. As decent (average) as he looked at the conclusion of last season it seems as though he has taken another step back, which is not what I expected. And he didn't make me believe he had control of anything in relation to the scheme.

i agree. ade's good play/bad play ratio is something like 30/70. he is a nice guy to talk to, but he can't cover for shit. im willing to give him another chance, but if he does something like that in next week's game, i wouldn't be suprised if he got cut.

I'm a huge Ramsey fan but it sounds like we are making a lot of excuses for Ramsey not having time to gel with the new scheme, new receivers, etc. We'll see, it is only preseason guys.

I must say, if Brunell keeps up the crisp passing during the pre-season a QB contreversy will be unavoidvable for Gibbs & Co.

I kind of hear a contradiction among those who say "don't fret, it's just preseason."

If that's the case, then Ramsey shouldn't have been nervous for the game. It's just practice. If anything, he should has proved to us that he's in control, and I didn't see that by the way he was dancing around in the pocket last night. We can't afford to have a QB take weeks to feel comfortable. I just hope Ramsey shows us better in the next few weeks of preseason. If not, I'm very worried.

For those who said that Ramsey just played with the first team starters for the first series, that's not the case at all. The only guy I saw leave after the first series was Clinton Portis. Gibbs kept the first team in there for most of the first half and I believe Brunell played with the first team at least until half time.

Also, the reason why we didn't see much of a running game was because Gibbs had only implemented seven running plays last night. I believe last night was mainly to see how the passing game has improved - and so far, it hasn't. At least the receivers did appear to be getting open downfield, but again, it remains the fact that the QBs have to get the ball to the receivers - and unfortunately with Ramsey last night, he wasn't getting the job done.

Hopefully Ramsey will have a better game against Cincy on Friday. I wonder how long Gibbs will keep him in the Bengals game?

To add though - I think once we see every aspect of this year's offense, we'll see better production - it is hard to judge an offense on 1/3 of it displayed in last night's game.

true people are making excuses. i feel he had enough time as being "the guy" to get comfortable....... with that said i just don't think a single preseason preformance will change my mind about him. He can do it, we all know he can do it, i think within the next 3 weeks he will trust the line and his protection. If they give him reason to trust them he will and i am sure he already knows what a great job the line did for him yesterday
the guy must have scary flashbacks everytime he sees a d-lineman. He was taking shots every play two years ago
he has to learn to trust them because in my opinon he was uncomfortable and felt he was gonna go down. TRUST TRUST TRUST
