I just read this morning that Gary Hogeboom was going to be on the next Survivor,I thought it was interesting,it list his age at 36,but I dont see how that can be right,he's got to be 46.He was briefly a redskin, maybe 1 game or 2,have we ever signed an ex-cowboy that didnt suck for us?

If he played against the Redskins in the 1982 NFC Championship game and is only 36 now, that would have made him 13 that day. He played pretty well in that game for a high school kid.

Gary looked good on Survivor tonight. He could go far or be booted early due to his leadership. Did he start that 1982 NFC Championship game or did he come off the bench for Danny White. I remember the big INT towards the end of the game, but forgot who threw it. I was 12 then.
He's definitely 46, unless he's just a really haggard 36!

I just like how he told people he did something else for a living and he's Gary "Hawkins". I'm sure Gary made some decent money in the NFL, but he played before the megamillion contract days and he was pretty much a backup. But if someone hears you were an NFL QB, he would be an easy target to get voted off.

One of the few Skins games I went to as a youngster. Danny White started, Manley blasted him, and Gary came off the bench. Great game!
