that other article while he was talking about his kids made me feel bad but if he really wants to start somewhere i am sure that if he restructured his deal just so we could trade him to another team a team would want him and i for one would be happy.'

I don't know why i just always thought that it must have been a flook but he really did suck, I just still feel he could be average, but he needs to realize that no matter how good he does in the preseason or in practice he will never start in DC again.

I have to say that getting Brunell, was the worst move that Gibbs has ever made. I really can't think of any that come close.

Who would ever trade for him?

I'm with you on this one Matty. What gets me is how people seem to think he took such joy in and deliberately had a poor season last year. Apart from last year, Brunell has been a solid QB in this league for over a decade and a stand-up guy and team player. And being offered such a big contract was not his fault and he's under no obligation to say "No I don't deserve this" Yet he restructured his deal anyway. Leave the guy alone already.

Seriously, he restructured, he's taken to the backup role and hasn't complained one bit, and he battled the best he could last year under some crappy circumstances.

Do I want him starting over Ramsey, no way.

But I do think we need to cut the guy a break. He's the easy scapegoat for the offensive struggles last year, and any knowledgeable Skins fan knows the problems on offense ran much deeper than Mark Brunell.
