Does Gibbs know what he's doing? I had thought that Snyder had made a huge move to get Gibbs back, but the personnel moves he's made seem questionable so far.
Dolphins Show Only Lukewarm Interest in Barrow
Sat Jul 30, 2005
The Miami Herald reports the Redskins this week called the Dolphins to offer LB Mike Barrow in a trade. Barrow, a former University of Miami and Homestead High standout, has refused the team's requests to take a pay cut. The Dolphins, apparently realizing that Washington may release Barrow, showed only lukewarm interest, according to an NFL source.

And from a guy with "PhinFever" in his sig.
6-10 isn't very good. But it's miles ahead of 4-12.

True. I'll never understand how A.J. Feeley was worth a 2nd round pick

Or how a supplementary draft d-lineman can leave the field in tears during a practice

i wish we would trade him. how can he refuse a pay cut when he didn't play a down for us last year? he's worthless.

the skins need to trade him to the pats, they're losing all their linebackers.

Hey, I'm just calling them as I see them from the other side of the league. I won't argue about the terrible decisions that were made in Miami. Hopefully things have turned the corner. I was just looking for some insight from your perspective since there seems to be some interest from Saban in Barrow.

Fair enough. I'd say from our side that Barrow was a pretty expensive "maybe", especially considering his advanced age. If he's healthy, he's retarding the growth of the young players, and if he's not 100%, then he costs a ton.
Now that he's on the open market, I'd suggest Saban bring him in for a run through. I'm sure he has a few more miles left in him, but not at his Redskin salary.
