I just read on redskins.com saying there is a trade for Rod Gardner to the Panthers pending a physical. Doesn't say what we get but at least it would be something :food-smil

We get a draft pick, at this point, it's not clear which round...

I'm betting it's a 5th rounder at best

I'm really surprised we were able to move him since it was so obvious he was going to be cut.

Glad to hear it. Even a 5th round pick would be better then nothing.

I'm sure its a very low draft pick, but he was going to get cut anyways. I'm really suprised we actually got somthing for him, so I'll take whatever they are dishing out. Even if its a 6th or 7th rounder.....

In all seriousness though, I think he has the chance to have a very good year/career in Carolina or wherever he ends up. He could end up to be very good, and then everyone will point at us like were idiots (as usual). But its defintley time to part ways with him, as he was doing more bad than good.

If it's as high as a 5th, you can spank me hard and call me bitch.

(Dear God let me right about this!!)

Could it be conditional based on what kind of performance he has next year?
