Thats freaking rediculous. I mean, I think people who listen to the show know what they are getting, thats so stupid. Its not like a family friendly show and hes saying this stuff, I can understand being upset at S.B, but this is freaking rediculous

Yes, we all know that parents don't let their children listen to him, but violating the FCC indecency rules, gives the ground to take him off the air. They have to do this because it is the rules. Personally, if I didn't like his type of broadcasting I would just stay away from it, but I guess he went a little too far. Rules are rules.

But what are the rules?? Nobody seems to know when it comes to the FCC until they determine something to be offensive after the fact. I was listening to the show on Tues and it was certainly nothing out of the ordinary for Stern.

If it's nothing out of the ordinary (and I'm sure it wasn't) then it probably was some listener who heard it and complained. It sounded like it was offensive to women, and whoever complained probably complained to the FCC.

Everything is getting so out of control since our dear little Janet pulled her stupid ass stunt. From what we've heard out Arizona way, NYPD Blue will be uncut on the east coast since it comes on at 10 PM. Out here it comes on at 9PM so they've already said it will be censored out here. That's absolutely ridiculous. We've been seeing it uncut for what, about 9 years. Janet does her little thing and now everything is suddenly pornorgraphic????? Give me a break. If you don't like what they're showing, change the channel!!!!!!!!

Seriously, theres no written set of " The Rules " , they are all just play it by ear and when we decide to pick on someone they do.

That's basically how the country has been run since the days of John Marshall.

Actually, the FCC was executing a plan to crack down on offensive material before the SB half time show. Jackson's incident just hastened their actions.
