Anyone else read this yet?
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood PrinceBrudLee 07-18-2005, 01:38 PM Anyone else read this yet? TheMalcolmConnection 07-18-2005, 01:47 PM I've just never been able to get into those books or movies. MTK 07-18-2005, 02:19 PM I don't get the whole Harry Potter thing, but for those that do you must be loving life right now. TheMalcolmConnection 07-18-2005, 02:27 PM ...but for those that do you must be loving life right now. HAHA! Nice quote. It STILL feels too child-like to me. BDBohnzie 07-18-2005, 03:09 PM my wife got me into the movies (She loves the books, but I refuse to read anything besides magazines, some non-fiction, and jimmy buffett/pirates/beach reading material at this point...), and they are really good. if you haven't seen any of the 3, give them a try. my wife has all 6 books, but has only read the first 3...i told her she'd better have the 4th one finished before the movie comes out in November. TheMalcolmConnection 07-18-2005, 03:10 PM I never knew that J.K. Rowling was a woman. I saw her picture on CNN. Is she really as much of a hottie as the picture says? Or was that just a REALLY good picture? BrudLee 07-18-2005, 03:27 PM I never knew that J.K. Rowling was a woman. I saw her picture on CNN. Is she really as much of a hottie as the picture says? Or was that just a REALLY good picture? She's no beast, but it's a very good picture. Those pictures seem to get better as she sells more books. TheMalcolmConnection 07-18-2005, 03:35 PM Ahh true, true. I was like, "Wow." SmootSmack 07-18-2005, 04:28 PM I haven't read any of the books but I keep thinking maybe I should read at least one to see what the hype is all about. I saw the first movie, thought it was decent but I guess I might have enjoyed it more had I read the book TheMalcolmConnection 07-18-2005, 04:31 PM It's all the ridiculous names for things is what puts me off... |
