Ok, 6th or 7th rounders rarely, if ever, make our team. That being said, why didn't we take a shot at the Roscoe kid from Clemson, the WR? I mean, everything I read about him says he has tons of potential, and honestly, when was the last time that we got a quality pick in such a late round?

Yeah, but even 50/50 is worth a 7th rounder.

Why bother?
Well, I think there are a couple of reasons to bother. First, Im not sold on our WR corp, and by all accounts this kid has real skills. Secondly, the Cerrato/Snyder duo has been horrible in their late round picks, so why not use one of next year's late rounders which won't make the team anyway, and try and help the squad for next year.

I agree, if we can get a second or third round talent in the 6th or 7th round then do it, don't know if this kid is really any good, but if he is then take a shot at him, we were giving away picks like they were unlimited to get Campbell, now we are scared to part with a late rd pick? Maybe the kid is just not talented enough who know's?

Help me out on this. After the supp. draft can any team take any player still available at no cost (like a draft pick) and when does that occure?

If a player goes undrafted he then becomes a free agent and can sign where ever he want's.
The Dolphins took Manuel Wright in the supplemental draft today

Sounds like Crosby would now be a free agent.

"He's getting drafted" in Thursday's NFL supplemental draft, Parker said Wednesday.
Good call moron.
Another genius agent.
