The World Series of Poker begins today with more than 5,000 players ponying up $10,000 apiece for a shot at a top prize that could reach $10 million. The NBA's summer league started Wednesday, with 16 teams figuring out how to divvy up substantially more than that.
Morning Buzz sees crossover dribbles. What if these NBA/
NFL figures -- most of whom will be carrying at least 10 grand -- found their way into the tournament?
• Terrell Owens can't play for the Kings like he wants, but he'll probably be there anyway. (It's not like he has a training camp to prepare for.) Good news: He's brash enough to go all-in. Bad news: As his Eagles negotiations show, he's likely to go all-in with a pair of threes and then blame everyone else at the table when he loses.
