On behalf of the front office, I'd like to give you all an update on what's going on with our plans to have a Warpath flag football game.
We've been working pretty hard behind the scenes to get this going. Crisp is working on a registration system in which people will pay to be a part of the team-Crisp can provide further details. Brud is working on landing us some sponsors for a possible postgame banquet. And CrazyCanuck has done some creative cap manuevers to allow us to keep RedskinRat and sign Redskins_P to a long term extension.
Also, we will be raising money for the Good Samaritan Foundation. A local organization that provides opportunities for inner-city youth in the DC area. I spoke to them and they are very interested in what we're doing. Also, I've gotten Charles Mann and Art Monk to tentatively agree to be honorary coaches-but keep that between the 1,000+ of us-in exchange for helping to raise money for their charity, the Good Samaritan Foundation.
Anyway, with all this going on we're looking at pushing the date to either Sept. 24 or 25-during the Skins bye week. And we need you guys to help us out now, any contacts you have in terms of getting sponsors, finding a place to play, host the postgame dinner etc.
I think we can make this really big. Crisp anything you'd like to add here?
