The story says that Terrell Suggs and his brother actually beat up 3 men and he still got off of being charged with aggravated assault.

"The case sprang from an argument between Cook and the Suggs brothers near basketball courts set up for a three-on-three tournament at Phoenix Municipal Stadium. It escalated to violence in a parking lot, where Suggs claimed he was hit over the head with an iron rod.

According to testimony, the brothers then beat up Cook and friends Casey Cothern and Anthony Henrie."

So hopefully the same happens with our very own Sean Taylor!!!

Unless Taylor hires a genuinely incompetent attorney, he will not be convicted of or plead guilty to any crime that involves jail time for him. At the worst he may get probation and community service and a big time fine and maybe even a short period of "house arrest", but with competent counsel, he is not going to jail.

Now, if he fires his lawyer a few times and then leaves the courtroom in the middle of the trial because he has to help friends move out an apartment or shows up iniebrated for the proceedings or tries to represent himself in court... he might find himself doing a life sentence after being found guilty of kidnapping the Lindbergh baby. :smashfrea

"After showing up in court to represent himself, Sean Taylor is befuddled when the judge, to sense his literacy, asks him to spell doggie"

YET ANOTHER use for that picture!

The law is a little less forgiving when guns are involved.

Let's also remember - aggrevated assault is just a right of passage for Ravens.
