Court date the day after the season opener as well. Gmanc711 06-24-2005, 11:50 AM Outstanding! So much for the charges being dropped. So does this mean he is going to be done for the year? MTK 06-24-2005, 11:55 AM I feel our forum lawyers gearing up for another legal debate! LOL Redskinsfaninnola 06-24-2005, 12:00 PM something else, will he show up for training camp and forget about the new contract deal for now.. TheMalcolmConnection 06-24-2005, 12:08 PM :vomit-smiI was hoping we could just let this one slide... ...:vomit-smi and this one is for the bachelor party I went to last night. MTK 06-24-2005, 12:20 PM Sounds like he's ok for this season Taylor is still expected to be present for the first day of training camp, July 31, at Redskins Park. Because of continuances -- adjournments of a court case to a future dates for various reasons -- Taylor's trial is likely to be postponed until after the 2005 NFL season, which ends in January. firstdown 06-24-2005, 12:32 PM It sounds like he's good for this season but he could be gone for three years. Can anyone shed light on the matter? What a wast! MTK 06-24-2005, 01:10 PM For a first offense I think he'll be able to avoid doing time... but then again I know nothing about the legal system! Gmanc711 06-24-2005, 01:15 PM For a first offense I think he'll be able to avoid doing time... but then again I know nothing about the legal system! According to espn.com the charge carries a 3 year minimum sentence, so we'll see what happens. |
