was watching the NFL Network and saw this piece of interesting trivia.
It seems that the Redskins were involved in the first touchdown involving Brett Favre............the Redskins were playing the Falcons and Brett was their backup........Favre entered the game and got a touchdown......BUT it was a TOUCHDOWN for the REDSKINS when Favre's first pass was intercepted......

yeah,I have that game on vhs but its a crappy copy,I actually posted a link about a week ago to see if anyone had a better copy
That video is really great, ahhh the good old days.
Those highlights remind me of a game of Madden where you just pound on the computer. 56-17?! Ouch!
Pretty funny to see Favre in there, who knew years later we'd be talking about Brett Favre as being one of the best QBs to have played the game.

yeah that is a good bit of interesting trivia. watching the video made me wonder, when was the last time the redskins scored above 40 points in a game? it seems like that never happens nowadays. those days are like once every two years it seems.

Those rollout plays were almost always a guarantee that we were going deep. Those were the good ol days. Hopefully we can get a taste of that this season.

It's also funny to see Favre called a rookie.

Man, we are due.
Also, the idea that Gibbs was just a ball-control, run all the time coach that some people seem to have is nuts (I'm sure you all know this, but still). We used to kick ass with the deep ball--effective running SETS that up. With a 1300 yard back and a much improved O-line, plus all that SPEED out there now, we are going to hit it deep this year.
MAN IT'S TIME TO KICK ASS!!! (Is it July 31st yet????)

Brett Favres first interception was to himself.
