I was at the Balt. game last season. BOller looked like a deer in the headlights (Brunnell looked like a zombie, but that's another story). It's all because Billik is a so-called offensive genius, and he's put his money on Boller. I agree with Brudlee.
Everytime I see another article saying how weak the skins are and overlooking us, I smile. Let's hope our opponents look at us as an easy game on the schedule--that's great with me.

that's what im hoping for too. this year everyone will overlook the skins, but that's the way i like it, so we can come out of the gate and suprise them.

MattyK and BL great points i have been wanting to make those same points for awhile now. If any expert has really watched Boller that his mechanics are one of the worst in the league. I'm not saying that makes you a bad qb but, has anyone noticed that when boller is in the pocket he shuffles his feet like he is scared. Those no balance in his throws thats why alot of times he underthrows or overthrows recievers. Ramsey has questions about holding the ball for awhile, but i would say that Ramsey's mechanics are far more supperior than Boller. I think Boller will bust this year not because the reciever upgrades arent suffiecent ,but because the ravens somehow forgot to address the offensive line which was terrible in pass protection last year. The signing of Vincent from the steelers isnt enough the offensive line will struggle and boller will have no time to throw. Ramsey is sitting behind a pretty solid line on paper but what will actaully happen we will have to wait and see if i was a betting man i would go with ramsey this year.

My personal opinion on the the difference in how the media looks at the two has to do with the fact that the Ravens have been a consistent contender the past few years and even won the SB 2 years before Boller got to town. Plus he's been the regular starter except when injured, whereas Ramsey, through some fault of his own and the coaching staffs since being drafted, has been taken in and out of the starting spot on multiple occasions.
But I think the main issue has to do with the fact that with the ravens defense and the o-line and running game at his disposal, Boller should be leading them further at this point of his development than he has. I mean if freaking Trent Dilfer can lead the Ravens to the SB, why shouldn't Boller be able to either or atleast close to it.
I hope this season, Gibbs and company leave Ramsey be for a while even if he at any time starts to waver, but we have to find out this season if he's the qb of the team for the future or if the teaching of cambell needs to be quickened a bit.

First off, the Lionel Richie's blind girlfriend reference was great! Hello....is it me you're looking for?....
Secondly, I think the expectations of Ramsey might actually be higher. It seems that there is the mentality (whether true or not) that for the Redskins to be successful Ramsey needs to win games, as opposed to the Ravens where their success is more dependent on Boller not losing the game and just leaving the result in the hands of the D and Jamal Lewis.
So it's easier to take that "next step" when the level of expectations isn't as high

The media has had a love affair with the Ravens...........
great sound bites from Ray Lewis.....and media always loved their defense....
And look at all the hoopla surrounding the re-signing of an AGED Neon Deion who is a shadow of his former self...........
the spice of the Jamal Lewis saga.................
Former head coach, Fassel takes over as offensive coordinator, the controversal Rick Neuheisel becomes QB coach and has been given the task to mold Boller........
The Ravens every reporters dream team......some are even picking the Ravens to unseat the Pats in the AFC..............personally I don't think the Ravens are as good as the Colts, Chargers, or Steelers current AFC contenders. I know the Pats have had a bit of a roster turnover but who would you put your faith in Tom Brady or Boller?
I don't think the media should be super critical to judge Ramsey when he has not had consistency in a system or with a coach in his short brief career........give the kid a break....... I'd take Patrick over Boller any day!!!!!!!!!!!!
