Point differential by quarter

Saw this and found it curious:

We have the 2nd best 1st half score differential, a similar pattern to the Lions (scoring early and 'losing' late), and all but the opposite of the Eagles (bad 1st quarters then recovering in 2nd and 4th).

So, we get ahead in the 1st half and lack the ability to outscore opponents in the 4th quarter (though there are obviously a few garbage time scores in there). This feels like it reinforces that we have to have the O outscore opponents early to compensate for late defensive frailties. Be interesting to see if Lattimore's addition helps to stymie opponents scoring late over the next 4 games.

I saw the post on IG a few days ago, it's a telling stat. I wonder if it's because Kliff become conservative in the 2nd half, or it's more of the defense making adjustments in the halftime.

Yeah, kinda makes sense to be more conservative with the lead and run clock in the second half on offense. Defense goes soft underneath and not allow big chuck plays over the top.

I don't like that philosophy. To me, you do what got you the lead and keep pouring it on!!
