Saw the news item that the Commanders are increasing prices of an average of 11 percent in 2025.
Are any of you STH, and if so, what section are you in and how much of an increase are yiu getting?

I know its a huge business, especially the NFL being the biggest...BUT...Tickets have become so outrageous. As a 35 year fan and supporter of the San Diego State Aztecs they have priced me out of the Market. I have a modest income, am 71 years old and can't afford afford to even support the school I want to support.
I can't even imagine what you guys are going thru. Aztecs game are cheap compared to elsewhere in the Nation, but still have rocketed out of my price range.

When I was there in '94 I got into the game for $7.50 (guy in parking lot) after arriving just after KO. Roughly $15 in today's money. Been a long time but I think the face value was $10. Equivalent now would probably cost c. $200. 😐

I remember paying $125 in the RFK parking lot in 1991 for a ticket to the Dallas game when we were 11-0. I thought it was crazy that I was paying roughly four times the face value of the ticket.....and we lost the game too
But tickets at RFK were in such demand that I think even in the last few years of the stadium when the Skins weren't great, even upper level tickets would command $150, either from ticket brokers or from folks who would advertise their seats in the WaPo classified section.

Went to watch football games in person only 3 times in my whole life, and 2 of them were for my friends. Every time I went, I felt like it's waste of money. Watching games from home or bar is much more comfortable and you are able to see everything.
