I think it's most likely they stick with this roster, barring FA pickups and any injury needs. But if they're willing and there's a good trade available, what do you think they should be looking for?
I'd be tempted to look at edge and CB now. i.e. Reddick is a slim possibility (too disruptive maybe?). But he'd love to stick it to the Eagles twice a year!
But who's out there? Who makes it worth a draft pick or 2 to get them now? Who can we afford to trade away?

I can’t imagine we bring anybody in, barring injury/unforeseen need occurring.
Trading away though? Anybody outside of this years draft class, BRob or Cosmi could be gone.
The FO clearly has no issue purging this roster and while we have a few decent pieces, there’s nobody who’s “untradable.” If a team calls with a strong enough offer guys like Terry, Allen, Payne could all be dealt and I wouldn’t be shocked.
This is a proper rebuild.

I swear so many other teams turn it around in one season, but somehow Daniels will be an aged vet by the time we get pieces around help the secondary.

For folks who wanted Ayuik trade, his numbers thru 3 weeks
11 catches, 119 yards and zero TD
Making no impact on a team that needs him with multiple people out.

I was not onboard a trade for Ayuik but using the 1st 3 games as some sort of measuring stick is unfair, we all know he is a very good receiver. While I don't want any part of trading draft capital, and the team feels the same obviously, I don't see why they have to punt on this season. The CB situation is already dire, wouldn't mind seeing them take a run at Xavien Howard, Assumng he is healthy why not sign him for multiple years and fill a huge need?

We shouldn't consider trading for any players unless we can get a long-term starter for mid/late round pick. We are in rebuilding mode so it's not logical to give away our capitals for a player that will not be with us after 2-3 years later.

I think it all will depend on where our record stands in week 9. If we have a winning record and the playoffs is a possibility, I'm fine with using mid-round picks to get a starter that can help the team.
If not, we should stay put.

I don't think many people wanted to dump cap + picks for him (Ayuik).
I don't see the team doing much in-season. I'm sure they'll make calls, I'm doubtful someone's going to give us a #1 CB or DE though. Teams don't ever want to trade those away barring crazy drama.

Yeah, I don't think there are teams with depth at CB and DE that want to give up a young guy in a trade right now. But is there a possibility of teams getting to game 5/6/7 and being under .500 and unlikely to make the playoffs maybe thinking about rebuilding next year? One or two more losses and Cincy could be doomed...
