Injuries. Let's not see any. That's all that matters.

Schneed10 06-15-2005, 12:51 PM Also in regard to injuries, I'd like to see signs that Jansen is his old self. I want to see him able to get out quickly to stop pass rushers, and I'd like to see him able to push off that foot with enough strength to move defenders like he was always able to do. If he's not 100% there yet, I'd at least like to see signs that he will be by the season's start. MTK 06-15-2005, 01:21 PM According to Jansen he's 100% and has been for a while now. It will be good to see him back in action that's for sure. BrudLee 06-15-2005, 01:43 PM According to Jansen he's 100% and has been for a while now. It will be good to see him back in action that's for sure. Wasn't it arguable that Jansen could've returned last year? I thought his injury had a possible return date before the end of the regular season, and he was on IR because it didn't make sense to hold out hope for that long. MTK 06-15-2005, 01:57 PM According to him he could have came back if the Skins made the playoffs, but who knows what the doctors would have said about that. JWsleep 06-15-2005, 02:11 PM I'd say the biggest thing is Barrow--if he can still play or not. If he can't go, that may well be the end of his career. I'm not sure if Lavar is supposed to be back or not; same with Nobel. And of course no injuries! Schneed10 06-15-2005, 02:34 PM According to him he could have came back if the Skins made the playoffs, but who knows what the doctors would have said about that. I'll bet he could have done it, I definitely don't doubt his heart and his committment to the team. He's a hard worker and I'm sure he put 110% into his rehab work. I guess it's not so much that I'm fearful that Jansen won't be healthy, because it sounds like he has a clean bill of health. I'm just slightly concerned that he may not have the same drive off that foot. It's the kind of injury that makes you wonder if a guy will ever be the same after hurting it. I'm probably worrying over nothing, but it would be real nice to see signs that he's the same old Jansen we know and love. Schneed10 06-15-2005, 02:36 PM Staying healthy as a team is definitely key; but is anybody besides me praying that Shawn Springs especially stays healthy? I like Walt Harris, and I like our rookie Rogers, but I'm not so sure they make the best 1-2 punch in a Gregg Williams defense. I'm sure Rogers will be awesome soon, but he's still a rookie right now. I think Springs may be key this year, knock on wood! TheMalcolmConnection 06-15-2005, 02:49 PM At least his personality is the same ol' Jansen. |
