If you have a computer with a broadband connection, i.e. DSL, Comcast or one of the many others offering a high speed INTERNET hookup, you can listen for free to any station broadcasting the Redskins game. Last year Redskins games were broadcast by WJFK at 106.7 on your FM dial. Their website can be viewed at http://www.1067wjfk.com/ Enjoy.
I'm another out of town Skins fans, thanks for the info Bandwagon, much appreciated..............

You can only listen to games online via the opponent's broadcast team, you can't listen via 106.7 FM.
I'm not really sure what exactly is behind the decision not to stream the games but since I work for a sister station I can ask.

Thanks TAFKAS, that info would be intesting to know. Ive always heard that Danny Boy has the exclusive rights to Redskins radio, and after searching for literally hours on the internet, I have never found a game being broadcast online. Somehow, Danny is exempt from allowing the games to be broadcast on NFL Season Pass.

I purchased a Sirius satelite radio last season to listen to Sonny broadcast the games. It was wonderful, I turned down the DirectTV, and got the homey broadcast, then when I wanted to rewind the TIVO, I heard the other version of the play-by-play.
I'm pretty sure that Dan made sure that the Redskin network was unavailable on the net. NFL broadcasts started on Sirius last season.

It seems to me that I checked this site out last year and I don't think you could listen to the live broadcast of the game. Danny Boy has some sort of exclusive rights to the Skins Radio Network, and therefore the NFL Season Pass doesn't carry Sam, Sonny and Frank (and yeah I know one of them is gone now, just can't remember which one). I figured the Dan Man would try and make extra bucks by broadcasting the games online somewhere.
Paulskin, most of the broadcast were the opposing team's radio feed of the game, but I did listen to a game that Sonny and Same were broadcasting....I don't remember where I got the link, I think someone on warpath posted it. The only problem it was a couple minutes behind the action happening on the field or even what was happening from the game play by play on ESPN.com or NFL.com.
I just wish the NFL would allow the cable companies to broadcast the NFL Ticket, it would make it easier for us out of town Skin fans. But I think I read the NFL and Direct TV agreed to extend their contract. :(

Well I asked and they're working on it. Some legal stuff with NFL.com they need to clear first. But one of the reasons they hired Larry Michael full time was to strengthen their Internet presence. The games will be online if not for this season then by 2006
